    • We collect personal information in order to monitor the performance of the systems that we install for our clients. We monitor to ensure that a) it is working and b) it is performing to the levels it should be.

The personal date that we will need to keep after our works have been completed on site include:

  • Name and contact details
  • Addresses
  • Account information, including registration details
  • Health and safety information
  • Photographs or video recordings
  • Records of meetings and decisions

We will need to keep this data in order to contact you if there is an issue with the system, delivery any replacement items/materials, ensure we have good historic record keeping for health & safety matters.

The data is stored digitally on a secure internal database. The data will be accesses, if needed, by Topling Energy Limited employees only. Your data will not be shared with anyone outside of the organisation. We will retain this data for the lifecycle of the system: 25 years. If we have not installed a system, but have gained personal information from yourselves (for example to provide a quotation), then the data will be destroyed securely immediately. We will destroy the data securely using online tools of deletion (including back-up files).

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal data you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing – You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal data you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

Your right to withdraw consent – When we use consent as our lawful basis you have the right to withdraw your consent.

You don’t usually need to pay a fee to exercise your rights. If you make a request, we have one calendar month to respond to you.
